Judith Shines on UK Tour

Judith Durham recently completed her "The Diamond Tour 2003". During the tour Judith celebrated her 60th birthday at a concert at the Royal Festival Hall.

Audiences were dazzled by her performances including music from many genres including gospel, jazz and ragtime, and the odd Seekers hit along the way for good measure.

The London concert was filmed and it is hoped will form the basis of Judith's first DVD release due to be released later this year.

Surfin' Seeker mailing list member Jörg Kaiser has taken some amazing photographs at a recent show and has kindly allowed these to be featured on this site. Please click here to see the pictures.

Judith has now returned to Australia where she will continue to work on her next solo album.

It is hoped that Judith will return to the UK next year for further concerts and there are also plans for her to visit the US next year for a short concert tour.

The tour dates are confirmed on the Tour Section of this web page. Click here for dates and venues.

To coincide with the tour, Judith's solo album "Hold On To Your Dream" and her book "Colours Of My Life" have now been released in the UK.

"Hold On To Your Dream" recently appeared at Number three in Borders music stores easy listening chart.

Seekers arrive on DVD

August 11 2003 sees the release of three Seekers DVDs. The "25 Year Reunion Celebration" disc also includes the "Future Road" behind the scenes clips and also the promo video shot for the "Far Shore" single (which is previously unreleased).

"At Home and Down Under" and "World Of The Seekers" appear to be identical in content to the previous video cassette releases.

The three releases are limited to Australia only and are expected to be PAL region 4 (although this is not yet confirmed).

*** UPDATE *** the release date for these DVDs may be pushed back until nearer the end of August.
