Keith in UK for solo Tour – More Dates Added!

Keith Potger is currently on tour in the UK in early 2007 to promote his solo albums “Secrets Of The Heart” and the recently released, “Sunday”.  The tour dates also include a one off special performance with The New Seekers.  Details of the dates and contact details for the venues are available on the Tour Page.

Extra dates have been added to the tour and it is expected that the date on the Isle of Wight is to be filmed for a planned DVD release.

Keith said recently: “Getting to know the loyal fans who have supported The Seekers and now come to my performances is gratifying. l believe that the material on SECRETS OF THE HEART has opened up an extra market for me too and now the icing on the cake is that they all seem to enjoy my original songs as well as the great hits that the group had in the ‘60s.”

Keith’s solo albums, “Secrets of The Heart” and the recently released “Sunday” will both be on sale at the tour venues.

Keith releases new solo album: “Sunday”

With his first solo CD, SECRETS OF THE HEART, established in the Australian marketplace, Keith Potger has been putting the finishing touches to his follow up CD, entitled SUNDAY. It is an album of beautiful laid-back ballads, just perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon’s listening. Expected release date is the 26th January.

A feature of the CD is the repertoire Keith has built up with noted Australian film director, screenplay and lyric writer Frank Howson. After a successful decade-long stint in Los Angeles, Frank Howson returned to Australia where he and Keith seamlessly combined their talents writing songs, six of which are on the SUNDAY CD and several of which will be heard on Frank’s upcoming feature film.

Keith has been actively writing individually as well, having road-tested many of his songs while on his solo tours of Australia and the UK. One in particular has caught the ear of his audiences. It is a light-hearted spoof on what it takes to break into the country music market in Australia. The song is entitled NASAL TWANG and audiences quickly pick up the words and sing along. By popular demand it is the bonus track on SUNDAY.
