The Seekers debut UK single was recorded on November 4th 1964. It slowly climbed the charts eventually reaching Number One on February 19th 1965 making Judith only the fourth female singer to hit the top of the charts in Britain. It was also the first time an Australian group had had a number one song outside Australia. The single eventually sold 1.75 million copies. The single went on to reach Number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went to Number One in Australia.

Released in April 1964 in the UK, this single repeated the success of its predecessor - hitting the UK charts on May 1st 1965 and by May 15th it was sitting right at the top. It went on to sell in excess of 1.5 million copies. The single reached No. 19 in the US and No.2 in Australia. Judith plays the autoharp on this track, Keith providing the memorable 12 string guitar hook. |

This track became The Seekers third consecutive number one in a row eventually spending 3 weeks at the top in the UK. It also topped the Australian chart. Stateside, the single faired less well stalling inexplicably at number 105. The B-side was suggested by Judith and the version used was recorded in just one take! |

This track reached number 11 in the UK charts, Number 15 in Australia but did not chart in the States. Written by Paul Simon, who later colaborated with Bruce on several songs which later appeared on Seekers Albums, including "Red Rubber Ball" which became a US number 1 for a band named "The Cyrkle" |

This single also found the Seekers back in the UK Top Ten. The mono single version has yet to appear on any CD release and features different lyrics and a slightly faster tempo than the version that appears on subsequent compilation albums. |

For their 1966 Christmas single the group re-recorded a track from their earlier album "Hide and Seekers". Their fourth Number One, the single went on to sell more than 1 million copies. The single also went to number 5 in Australia. The version recorded for the World Record Club was released in February 1967 (after Georgy Girl) and reached number 44. |

This track gave the band their biggest hit reaching Number One in America and Number 2 in the UK and Australia. The song was written for the movie of the same name starring James Mason and Lynn Redgrave and was never intended for single release but the bands US record company lifted as a single and it soon displaced The Monkee's "I'm A Believer" at the top. The song was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Song in 1967. |
